Treasury Feature

My Chicago Parking Meter Notebooks are definitely a fan favorite!  People loved them at the Music and Art meet Culture Fest  and one of them was just featured on a treasury list!  Whitney D-S created a cute themed list called 1st World Problems: Parking (after the funny and sometimes sad #1stWorldProblems on twitter).

Here's part of the feature, make sure to click and see the whole thing!

A Successful 1st Show

Last  night I went to the Music and Art Meets Culture Fest for the first ever Quirk Crafts show.  It was a success, we sold a handful of our cool things and got lots of love from the shoppers.  People loved our Chicago Parking Meter Journal, Crazy Journals, and Vintage Found Object Necklaces. One website designer who stopped by also said our booth was really nice looking and several people commented on our cool business cards.  That's a success in my book.

And of course...candy for everyone who stopped by.  What should our next show be?

Save the Date!  Next weekend - Sunday evening, May 20, 2012.  Quirk Crafts will be at our first ever event!  The Music and Art Meet Culture Fest.  That's right, I'll (Kirsten) be there with a little table of goodies hoping to sell some of our cool journals, tags, notebooks, jewelry, and more.

It looks like a cool event, free drinks at bites at the beginning of the event, live music, glow sticks, and a bunch of vendors.

Are you going?  RSVP on the facebook page and give me us a shout out!

Pretty Blue Green Hand Painted Journal - Multi Sized Page Scrapbook

Another pretty journal designed by Sara.  This is one of my favorites of hers.

This pretty journal will have your memories all tied up with a gross-grain blue ribbon!  This scrapbook contains 60 multi-sized pages perfect for smashing all sorts of things.  There are vintage bingo cards, playing cards, envelopes, translucent pages, pockets, decorative paper, etc. creating all the pages in the book.

Smash your ticket stubs (would match the blue tickets on the hand painted cover), vacation photos, or artistic journals into this blue and green spiral bound book.  The spiral binding even matches the cover - it's a shinny dark green.  The inside covers are finished with hand made paper and the whole book closes with two dusty blue ribbons.

Brown Travel Scrapbook: Junk Journal with Vintage Page Inserts

Another great, multi-paged spiral bound journal designed by Sara.  This one would be perfect for travel since it has vintage stamps on its hand painted cover.

A random assortment of pages and envelopes to fuel your creativity and jump-start your journaling.  The hand painted cover with vintage stamps makes this a perfect journal for traveling.  Multi-sized pages, vintage inserts, and fun extras like playing cards, Monolopy Real Estate cards, and play money make the journal fun to use.  This is the book for you if you're bored with plain page journalling.

Total inserts -59! Inserts and pages are all multi-sized.  Book contains decorative paper, pages, pockets, envelopes, and memorabilia.  Also has finished front and back covers, gold spiral binding, and black elastic closure.

Doggie Treasury List

It's been a while since I've added a blog post...but fear not I've been busy creating some cool crafts and shooting pictures of things to upload to etsy.  BUT in the meantime, someone added one of our cards to their treasury list. Yay!

Check out the Ode to Jolie Treasury List and then buy the card if it suits your fancy!
