Puppy Moleskine Smash Book/Journal

Moleskine has always been the makers of some of my favorite books.  I've used their plain notebooks for travel journals and their yearly planners, but now I have a new favorite: The Moleskine Passion Series.

They have books for just about everything: film, chocolate, travel, fitness, wine, and doggies!   My mother in law gifted me with the Dog Passion Book to record all the goodies about our new puppy, Ella (meet Ella and all of us here).  She's currently 9 months old and I'm loving her baby book/scrapbook/smash book by Moleskine.  I love it!  It's brilliant in that it's divided into sections and has template pages along with blank ones so you have a guide for all your photos and memories...sometimes a blank book can be daunting.

Here's a little peek inside Ella's Puppy Smash Book:

Memories and firsts....Ella's Puppy School Graduation pages
I've glued, pasted, and taped in labels from Ella's favorite chews and food
plus tickets from the Dog Shows and her first baby tooth.

Have you tried the new Moleskine Passion series?  Do you have a smash book for your puppy?

The newest journal, smash book, scrap book is here!  Created by Leslie a few years ago, this swirly book was inspired by a class with Ingrid Dijkers called "Twirly Swirly Journals."  It's been recently unearthed, and is the perfect smash book for all kinds of memorabilia.  Stash tickets, photos, or diary entries in this mixed media, 32 page bound book.  Features 4 cut out, pull out pages which are perfect for circular journaling or anyone that likes to write outside the lines.  Book is hard covered with three bound sections inside.  Would also make a perfect travel journal.

Features 32 light green pages, 4 pull out/attached colored pages, and two pages with swivel hand cut outs.  Also features 8" of journal jewelry on the binding created with various sizes and shapes of crystals and beads.  Swirl cut outs and circular lines are a recurring theme on almost every page.

Materials include: vintage cutouts, fluer de lis prints, paint, floral themes, dictionary pages, textured paper, beads, crystals, and has the color scheme of mint, light green, burnt orange, brown, taupe, gold, grey, and yellow.

Dimensions: 6.5" x 8.5" and .75" wide.

This was the first project I started for etsy, so it has a special place in my heart.  Plus I LOVE food!

This quirky 24 page mini smash book is perfect for the food lover in your life.  Created with food themed images, upcycled pages, and spiral bound, it's a perfect place for grocery lists, party planning, a food diary or jotting everyday notes.  No matter what your favorite meal, there are pages for you: breakfast waffles, shrimp soup lunch, pasta dinner, or yummy chocolate torte for dessert.  Comes with a free black Sharpie pen too and is the perfect size for stashing in your purse.

Mini Journal measures 4x6 and contains 24 black spiral bound pages.
Created with the following:
3 pieces of 4x6 shimmer cardstock
5 upcycled magazine subscription inserts
1 painted tag with purple ribbon (detachable)
1 upcycled Kook-Aid Orange pouch
Multiple sheets of decorative paper (including a macaroni and cheese printed one!)
Recycled newsprint
Recycled magazine pages
Stickers
Sticker alphabet letters

Love it?  Snatch it up and take it home.

Not sure what a Smash Book is?  It's essentially a pre-made scrapbook you can stash all your goodies in.  Smashing things in the book in a fun, easy way.  There's a whole Smash line of products as well.  Here's a great blog post on what they are.  This book is not related to the Smash line at all, but I think it's pretty nifty.
